Féile Filíochta
International Poetry Competition
The 19th Féile Filíochta International Poetry Competition will take place in the Assembly Room, County Hall, Dún Laoghaire on Friday, 4th April at 7pm. You are very welcome to attend this very special event to hear poems being read in the ten languages of the
competition and to meet the Féile prize-winners who come from countries all over the world.
This year, the prestigious Féile Filíochta Poem of Europe Award will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on Friday, 4th April. We acknowledge with deep appreciation the work
of the Féile Judges:
Nuala Ní Dhomhnaill, Rita Ann Higgins, Gabriel Fitzmaurice,
Zdenka Becker, Jean Philippe Imbert, Dr. Antonello Morea,
Tony Bianchi, Dr. Patrick Gallagher, Maoilios Caimbeul,
Annika Burholm and Jacek Kozik.
The winning poems will be available on the Féile Filíochta website at www.dlrcoco.ie/feile from April 2008.
